Hello, I have a question for you. Missing data of categorical variables are not averaged and therefore, I think that nothing can be done for missing data of categorical data. Because when the average of missing data belonging to a categorical variable with 2 or 3 groups is taken, the groups are distorted. For example, the missing data value of the categorical variable with 0 for boys and 1 for girls becomes a half value, which distorts the group. What should we do in this situation?

In this case, what you need to do is to assign missing data with the regression method instead of the average, in this case, the related variable is assigned to the most similar group as a result of the regression analysis instead of the mean of the series. not making any assignments to the data and eliminating the relevant data from the analysis.
